Nine women were chosen and their stories were graphically
represented into nine separate booklets; these were placed on
tables in the exhibit so that visitors could sit down and read
them at their leisure. Each story was written in both English and
Italian and illustrated with old collected photographs as well
as
current photographs of the women in their homes today.
The booklets
were designed with the idea in mind that they
could be collated to be part of the final published book
Each
front cover was embroiderd by women in the community.
